That's because the SC, ES, and 147 GS had projectors for halogen. HID was not really into full development at the time. In 98, not too many cars had HID. There was not enough time to develop HID projectors. They just evolve over time.

I like it... It is kind of a hiding spot for stuff... most people don't know it opens!

Appearance ... the amber color front bumper lens and amber color inner lens on the taillights
Suspension ... excessive lean on curved roads and fwy on-ramps

I have to say the 65mph vibrations. Also the garbage ball joints.

I'd say the seats are horrible, my 97 Maxima had better supporting seats, the stocks wheels are to small for such a large vehicle, the muffler tips are to small as well, and better suspension

Oh I was driving from the club and somethings I forgot about the car popped up.

-The trunk, why does it have to have that step up?
-No Fold down seat to the trunk
-Why can't the display in the center console (radio, climate control) match the white indiglow or vise versa?

All in all, still my favorite car.

the only thing i don't like about my car is the graish dash board. i like the material just not so much the color. i love my soft beige leather but not the gray dash at all.

my trunk is plenty big for a 12" sub in box + amp + golf clubs + case of water bottles + anything else i want to throw in there. i moved from CO to VA with this car and was able to fit over 700 lbs (i know cuz i had it weighed) of clothes n kitchen essentials + 1 wife + 1 cat (the rest got shipped).

Thats where the loose change goes. I think that spot is where the headlight washer switch goes for the gs that has headlight washer.

I agree on the ViBRatiONs. It kept me from buying a beautiful GS430 last month. I was in love with everything else but could not deal with a $20,000 car that shook in my hands at legal highway speeds. I can see it now, "but officer, I HAVE to drive at 105mph to keep my ride smooth"
Still looking...
