I am seriously contemplating selling my car. I don't really know what a fair price for the car would be since it has a bunch of "junk" on it.
Long story short, it is a 98 GS DPW with about 92k on it. Body and paint are pristine. It does have a custom body kit and HKS Kansai hood. The other thing is a TT kit with Autronic SM4 for engine management. The rear end is a rebuilt with TRD LSD, and tranny with upgraded valve body and TC set at 2400 stall. Wheels currently are 20 Work Equips in Burning black. Also has Supra TT brake upgrade. there are other things, but these are the big stuff.
I know I won't get what I put in, but I do wanna get something. What is a good asking price? If it looks like too much of a loss, I'll have to rethink my strategy.
Thanks in advance.

Stock, anywhere from from 11-14k, approx. depending on the condition. With mods, just depends on if the buyer is willing to pay the extra $$$. If you want to get the most out of your car, best choice is to part it out, and then sell your car stock. Of course that's more time, trouble, and possible headache.. You could at least sell your wheels and put on the stockers, that would be a start.

part it out, it will definatly take longer but posting here all that would be sold in seconds and you know it will go to some one who will appreciate the parts and put them to good use. And you know that you'll get fair market value for everything. Thats what I would do and have done before. just my $.02 good luck with your outcome

Looks like a station wagon. Likely the Audi S6 wagon
Yeah I know that I could sell the Equips easily, since Work discontinued em, I sure someone would buy it, but I don't wanna go through the headache of shipping rims.
The engine management would be very complicated to install unless the installer is very knowledgeable and is comfortable with Autronic. Also since the car is already running well, it would be a shame to part it out. Just looking for someone to take care of the whole car, not just the pieces.
thanks for the replies.

I'm gonna guess that with the market the way it is right now that its gonna be hard to sell for more than 20k. Even tho it has pretty much low miles at 92k its still a 10 year old car. I've actually been in the market for a GS3/GS4 for my wife since I totaled the SC and have seen prices on these cars plummet down into the high single $k digits. if your gs has nav and is in as good condition as you say its probably worth 11k and thats with the bodykit, wheels add another $1500.00 and that twin turbo kit is the number that might throw off the sell. Probably somewhere in the 17k-21k range but that is a hard sell even as rare as a TT is but the market is really rough right now. Your better off selling the wheels seperate and just throwing on some stock 17's that way you get closer to 2500-3k for the wheels and tires.

Good luck and Blue-lex is about right. Cash for luxury items are tight across the board right now. Get the stocks and sell it as if but it is going to take some time to get a decent price.

just sold my 98 here it atl with 117K for $10500 so with the lesser miles I would say $11500-12000 stock! market will just depend with the mods.......if you can find someone that likes the car in its current condition!
