Anyone have a photo or description how we check/change this?
I have no idea where this filter is...

All I know is when I turn my AC on it SMELLS!

Anyone ever put fabric softner sheets in with this to give a nice fresh scent????

that's a good idea. it's located in the glovebox. search the diy's. i changed mine when i bought the car. it's disgusting thinking about the air that the previous owner was breathing.

GS300 ALL ALL ALL ALL ALL ALL
Notes Replaces OEM Part # 87139-30010

This is from the Blitz Hybrid A/C Filter. Will this application also work for the newer GS300. It seems that they never made it for the newer version or is their website just outdated?

what you may have is mildue (sp?) mildew? in ur vents. it happens when u turn on the a/c in the summer months or whenever, and dont give adequate time for the water to blow out of the system. u end up with water build up in the system, and grows into mildew? u can buy a can of this cleaner stuff from most autoparts stores. turn on the system to 2nd highest blowing level on cool. then find where the car "sucks" the fresh air into the cabin. spray the stuff for about 20-30seconds, and it should clean most of it up. ur car might smell like baby powder for a few days. ive had to do it almost every summer in my previous car.

the smell, is nasty, lack of a better description, like urine.

next time i go changing the filter, im thinking of the DIY thread i remember reading somewhere. someone went to home depot, and picked up one of those hepa filter large furnace filters. apparently its big enough to cut 4 sheets out of. then they just replaced it with that hepa filter.

the fabric softner sheet idea sounds interesting as well...

Does anyone know where the "air conditioning evaporator" is?

Photo would be nice. As well, I looked up the DIY cabin filter replacment and all the photos are down
