Default Check out how Dirty Cabin Filter Is!!

I just got my car around 3 weeks ago and I have been working on a few things. Today I took my cabin filter out and I dont think I have ever seen one this dirty. Im positive it has never been changed. Im going to do the diy filter tomorrow.

Thanks for reminding me, because as soon as I get out of Mexico City I have to either clean/replace mine.

I have the blitz reuseable filter. Couldn't believe how dirty the OEM one was.

Thats exactly how mine looked when I bought it at CarMax, they replaced it free of charge of course. 6 months later, the new one looked the same way.

I didn't think the cabin a/f got dirty as the a/f under the hood until I saw pics like this and my very own one when I changed mine.

Carson toyota. I got them awhile ago when Carson had a groupbuy. Maybe if you PM them, they'll give you a discount or something. It's not cheap at all, but given how quickly these OEM filters are prone to getting dirty, it'll pay off after awhile.

Great thing about this filter is that it also has that anti-odor layer so that the air doesn't stink nearly as much.
