Scroll down the the white GS with the gold wheels. It all depends on how u get it done and the theme and color of your car. I prefer unpainted on my black gs.

Do it, blk/blk would look clean, I've been pondering this for a while. I was going to go to a professional sticker shop(like modern image in socal) and get color matched vinyl and cover them with that to see if i like it. the vinyl is cheep and easy way to see if it looks good or not. If no then just peel it off. For the record I have seen this on a half dozen cars and think it adds a certain flair to the vehicle, It separates your ride from the others. Remember this is YOUR car, do with it what you want.

The body shop guy suggested it? Oh noes...I wouldn't do it. The chances of it looking cheesy are much higher than the chances of it looking good. Your car is black, leave the visors natural and it will look fine.

So black car and black(painted) windguards? Humm might be on to something. I think white would be the Ultimate but could work on Black. Pioneers get the gold and the followers get the old. Do it and be different. if you do not like it take it off. The same thing was said about the chrome door handles and now look at us. Lovin 'em
good quote though i really don't think the color match would look bad, someone want to hit up the photoshop forum?

jcat - would you not just use the same trick as debadging? i.e. fishing wire under them and pull.. then remove residue.
anyway black guards will be subtle... why not just do it.
