Default Redding out the turn signal

I was going to smoke out my tail lights, but i was reading a thread on how everyone totally dissed a white GS w/smoked lights saying it didnt look all that great w/a white car, so i decided to red out ONLY the turn signal on my '03 and leave the reverse lights clear. I also put in LED license lights, which took forever to do.

what ya guys think? i redded out all the orange. I don't know if anyone has done this, but I think it looks pretty sweet!!

(finished tail-day)

no... i made a stencil of the orange area, minus the reverse light and applied it accordingly and then used a heat gun to form the shape to give it the all red look.

did u read?
--i made a stencil of the ORANGE part. (measured the area of the orange part of the light, minus the clear part)

--Cut a strip of red transparent vinyl and traced it with the stencil to get the shape... cut it out, and then stuck the red vinyl over the orange part, and used a heat gun to get the vinyl on there ( just like how you tint your windows/tail lights)

--of course it matches perfectly because i measured and made a stencil of the orange part. if it didnt match, then my tail lights would have looked sloppy with bubbles and creases everywhere and you would probably see orange.

i applied the transparent vinyl accordingly (evenly) over the orange part to cover it so you cant see the orange so it looks ALL red except for the reverse light. ..

what do you mean you dont know what to do with it? were u planning on smoking it out or anything??? i just did the red b/c its different and easier than smoking out the WHOLE tail b/c i tried doing that and i got tooo many bubbles and creases when i used the heat gun and i suck at it. haha. so i just did the signal light and took out the orange. ill take a picture in the day time so you can see it better.

go to ebay and type in exactly "red transparent vinyl" and the sellers name is Paper Street Plactics. thats where i bought the roll of vinyl =) if you have the same tail light as me, i can probably send you the stencil i made and you can cut the vinyl from that and it will fit exactly. all you need is a heat gun =)
