I remember a thread about this in the old forum, but don't remember if there was a solution to the problem. I recently added a spoiler to my GS, and now both the stoplight on the rear deck and the LEDs on the spoiler light when the brake is depressed. I think that removing the lamps from the rear deck light will give me a warning light on the dash, so I don't want to do that.

Is there any way to disable the rear deck stoplight without getting a warning light on the dash?

You need to get the rear brake light module sensor part#8937030160.
This will eliminate the warning light on the dash. But if you want to remove the rear deck light, you need to replace the whole rear deck board to get rid of the hole from the light housing.

I had my brakelight removed and the decklid replaced by the dealer when they installed my rear spoiler.

Jacob -- Will I be able to install the rear break light module that you suggest or does my dealer have do it? Does the installation disable the rear deck light, or does it just prevent the dash light from coming on and I have to do something else to disable the deck lights?

You can install the module yourself. It will disable the rear deck light and only use the spoiler LEDs.
