Default Engine Rattling / Rattle Sounds in the Hood

Hello everyone, Once again need your opinion, I drive 2000 GS400, for about a week now I started hearing wired rattling from the hood while I am driving the car. Its like every time I try to give gas to pick our the car I will hear rattling noise from the hood I am not sure if it’s the engine making those noises I don’t even know what it is, but the noise I think is coming from the hood. Car was perfect until a week when suddenly it started. Its like when I give gas/race pick up the car it makes noise but once it picks up the speed the noise goes away, and if I play with the gas paddle “take my foot of it and the push the gas paddle again it will make noise when pushing the gas paddle & noise will go away once the car picks up the race, and leme mention it does it sometimes but not all the time, before it goes any bad or before I take the car to have it check & a dealer rips me off I need your opinion what the problem could be? PLEASE HELP ME OUT
Thanks a lot in advance for all your help.

Most likely its the exhaust heat shield near the Y pipe. My 300 had a similar noise. I found it was the heat shield. I got a radiator hose clamp & fit it over the shield then clamped it down tight. Other wise I'd have to re-tack the shield and I dont have a tack welder.

I had the same problem a metalic rattle when I excelrated, Lexus told ne the Exaust heat shield were loose and would be $ 2K to replace. The service advisor recommended I just live with it.
I took my GS300 to Ryan Muffler he removed the lower heat shield and tac welded the upper one. cost $10.00.
Im a happy camper

For me, it was my engine cover that kept rattling. Took that bad boy off.
