Default Well, I will soon depart to the manufactuer that has a 3 letter abreviation.

As nice as the GS4 has been, the opportunity for a 335e92 coupe is just too tempting..

Hopefully, I wont give up too much from a reliability standpoint. One thing is for sure, the brakes and linear power on the 335 are very impressive.

335's are nice - big power with a chip and 3" turbo back...

Enjoy it - hopefully you have a dealer with loaner cars :-)

I just got rid of my 1998 GS400. I've loved the car since I got it, but I figured it was time for a change.

I did pick up a Brand New 2008 335i E92 coupe. Alpine white, with dakota black leather with the gray polar wood trim(blackwood).

Being that the BMW offers 4 years, 50k miles free maintenance ... I couldnt pass it up. I got a 3 year lease with 15k per year. This way I can beat the ish out of it ... and never have to worry.

I will be tracking the car, since I dont have to pay to get anything replaced.

Im not TOO worried about the 335 knowing the SA on a personal basis. From what I was able to determine, they have better reliability than in the past.

And as far as AMG or MB goes, you really cant say the word reliability and MB in the same sentence from what I understand.

Well, as I am just about the only driver, I cant have the luxury of two vehicles (actually, I already have 2 - the weekend toy is a 89 camaro with a 400smallblock).

Hey yujis

Im the 335e92tx Id on e90post.com

Seems our paths cross again

Im debating how much to lean on the 335 with a piggyback. One things for sure, Im going to be glad to have it.

gs400tx:

You won't be disappointed with the performance, and the reliability is hit and miss. I currently have 12,000 trouble free miles on my E92. Of Course, I was smart enough to keep the GS in case the 3er breaks down. Too bad I have more trust in a 01 GS430 with 130k than a new BMW!
