Lightbulb 18x9 Front & 19x10 (11) Rear?

Off the top of my head i have this crazy idea. (Dont bash on me, i am not to big on performance) What will the GS look like and perfom like on wheels this size, with a drop of course. Will this be a good idea, or just keep it the same size all around?

i believe the VSC works off all 4 wheels and if the front spin more it may set off your vsc. (correct me if i am wrong) i would go 19's all around

I thought VSC only affected the rear wheels ... Our cars are only RWD not AWD and VSC works by cutting power to the wheel which is losing control, if there is no power going to the Front wheels how would the VSC affect them??

I think it would look pretty cool, I would love to see the GS with this stance, Larger diameter wheels in the rear would create a really aggressive stance ...

Looks weird on the GS. The wheel arches have the same radius front & rear
so no matter how much you slam the front the front wheels will always
look too small when compared with the rears in the side profile.

This look works okay on Corvettes and NSXs because the cars were designed
for it and have smaller front wheel arches.

To make it work and not upset the VSC you'd need to run
245/40-18
275/30-19
The rear tires will be lower profile than the front.

Everybody wants to reinvent the wheel. This is not the way to do it.

Thx for the feed back, and Dave for the move. So it looks like 19 all the way.

VSC works with all 4 wheels.

What else would stop the rear wheels from spinning (how would it even know the rears are spinning, and your not just going very fast)? The fronts being stationary of course, not to mention, steering angle effects traction in many ways.

These are Lowenhart BR5 - Polished - 18x8.5 & 19x9.5 on former moderator ///mdex's car back in 2001. I think they looked good, but a lot depends on the wheel design and it'll be a crapshoot until you get them on the car.
