don't do it. i want to b the first on CL! my next car is going to have the same scheme as Rob's truck. The one thing many people do not notice is that the tail lights are actually painted over he same color as the rest of the car. that looks so sick, so much nicer than tint. but if you are going to murder it out gloss style, you need to make sure that the rims are perfectly color matched. infact, I know of people doing this style and actually painting the wheels first because they may shine different than the car paint, so then they can match the car shine to the rims. alsoooo i think these cars only look nice in the sun... tennessee has a little rain here and there, right?! haha.

i always liked that flat black paint job. would look great on a GS with blacked out headlights IMO. what kind of paint do they use and is it as durable as stock paint? any special care for using that type of paint on a car?

i like it. it's normal car paint with an additive called "flattener". duh, right?
you can't wax it. y ou just have to keep it clean and oily deposits off it. fingerprints, tire dressing, oil, etc will all stain it. then you'll need a good grease cutter to wash it off.

someone is screwing you for $4500. it's easier to paint a flat color than a gloss color for one thing. the paint itself is available from a well known hot rod/street rod paint store online for less than $200 shipped. i have some experience painting and i am gong to paint my LS with one of thier colors. i'll post pics when it's done.

someone should try a flat color instead of black....the Alsa Corp. has a new clear called softfeel or something. Its suppose to be durable and have a very soft touch to it. Seen it on a orange 300c looked killer. Im thinking a Dark Cherry Pearl that was flat would look so sick.
