Default Smoke Tailights . . .

there was just a thread on the older tailights being smoked and i just recently did this to my tailights "01 tails" , thought i'd post up some pictures of my little project .. . .

heres some before and after pics . . .(the pics dont look to well but in person they look pretty dam nice)
-when i get bored of these smoked tails i think im gonna do the all red look, my girlfriend likes the all red . .






and yes the last pics theres alot of dirt on my bumper , its being rainy alot down here =)

it looks very minor? or is it just my computer

The all red look is nice also, i had that look on my car. Then i went to LED's.

yeah i had a feeling it might be hard to see. plus its only one layer of the tape so u can still kinda see the orange , but in person it does look pretty good, maybe i should take a picture when theres not as much sun out maybe its bringing the orange out a litto more . . .

I'd say either go darker with the smoke tint or go all red. I've seen all read 01's tails on a black car and it looks sick!

I just tinted mytails, and it looks great. I have the gunshot metal color lexus , sports edition, Here is a pic of the car i saw posted in here that made me do it.... Ill post pics of mine in a few.

I think that member with the silver GS totaled the car about a month ago. IMO, only black or dark colored cars can pull off tinted tails.

I was concidering blacking out the tails on my black GS. Ebay sells the blacked out covers for $14. Anyone ever bought them?

i brought them, they look good, i had them put on by a tint guy for like 50 bucks ..... the paper is transparent vinyl (8300) i will post pics, i have a gun smoke gray gs 300

not to go offtopic.... quick side question.... what suspension do you have and what size wheels are those?

i like the way that looks so i called up lamin-x.
It's 55 bucks for the rear tail lights and 50 for the front headlights.
Pretty expensive for tints IMO.
