Finally!!
Finally got my HRE 547s.
Came home from work yesterday and there were 4 LARGE HRE boxes in my foyer. It was awsome. These wheels are impressive. They are lite too. I will weigh them and post the results.
Fronts: 18x8.5 and Rears: 18x10 fully polished.
Sorry no 19s or 20s for me here in Michigan. The roads would drive me into bankruptcy with repair costs. Gonna get SO3 rubber next. I will post pics. I am in no hurry due to teh fact the car is garaged.
Later,
MIKE

Questions....
Fit the wheels to the car before I put the tires on to check for any problems as the instructions state.
A few questions...
1. The fronts are 18x8.5s and they looked like they stuck outward by about and inch......is it my preception or is it the way it is supposed to be??? (for those of you with these sizes).
2. The wheels also seemed bit close to what seemed to be the control arm in the front wheel well. Is this just a tight fit?
Any insight is appreciated.
Thanks
MIKE

I have HRE 545's on my car. If they look like they are sticking out of the wheel well by about an inch then it sounds like the offset is wrong. If you ordered them with the offset from the stock wheels, then they will probably stick out. As for fitting close to the control arm, mine look close too, but as long as they arent touching it is fine, because when you lower the car the control arm will stay that distance from the wheel at all times. Hope this helps some. Enjoy the wheels, and post some pics soon.

Spartan, congrats on the rims. What offsets did you specify, and why? Are the rims hub-centric/centering (i.e., designed for the GS axle hub size)? Did you get big brake (supra) fitment?
Thanks

Congrats Spartan!
Yes, please post the offsets...the front should be in the +38 or higher...the rear should be +37 and higher...
Of course, picts...how about some picts on the INSIDE of the wheel so that others can see....(like Bit)

First of all, let me commend you on purchasing those rims especially in the "awesome" roads of Michigan. I lived there before and in the 3 years I had non-stock rims, I managed to destroy about 4 sets (they are cheap though ehhe).
But again, NICE RIMS 8)

Pics are coming....
Well....I have digital pics coming of the rims on the car...
I have to download them from my girlfriends camera.
The offset. I ordered them through SRT and MO assured me that they were the same offset as his car. He told me the numbers but I forget what they were. I will call him on Monday and ask him again. I will aslo try HRE as well. If anyone remembers what offset MO has that is it.
The wheels were also to have been built for a BIG brake upgrade in mind. There is definately room for a 6 or 8 piston upgrade from the looks of it.
As far as the spec being incorrect. I am not sure. I have never had wheels like this and they probably just look different to me. I know it sounds wierd that I dont remember the specs of my own wheels, but I just plane old forgot. I will get hem though.
Tires have not come yet because I want to install them on the car in the spring. I dont want the wheels to have mounted tires on them and sit all winter long in the basement.
Thanks

2 - It's a tight fit but should be no problem. Even with 245/40's on the 18x8.5's (what I have) there's no problem.
