Timing belt question
Hey guys,
I recently had my timing belt changed and I'm just now noticing that the tick mark on the crankshaft pulley that use to be set to zero is nowhere to be seen. Should I be concerned with this? Will it affect the timing on my car?
I'm really concerned and wanted your advice before I take the car back.
thanks
Joseph

toeb is correct... if your car is running right, trust me, you're "in time". The notch on the crank pulley should be there and will not stop at the zero mark when the engine is turned off, so don't expect to see it all the time. If you are really concerned, do like toeb said and spin the crank until you see it, the pulley bolt is 22mm. Hope that helps, GL
