Default Question about fog lights on '02 GS300

I installed an HID kit on my fogs thinking that my fogs were clear and i would get a nice 6000k light coming out... instead i realized that there's a yellow tint in the center and the light coming out now is more greenish than anything else..

before i take off my bumper again, anyone know if this yellow tint on the inside of the fog light can be removed, i was it to be clear... or do i need to buy a different fog light altogether?

Lol, well you have two options: you can either break the yellow lens inside or trade with somebody that has clear fog lights.

can we not just take out the yellow lens? it has to be literally broken out?
I tried simply just taking it out but I just couldnt do it, and dont want to spend the money just paying for two new housings while the ones I have now are perfectly fine.

If you can find a way to open up the housing then sure you can just take it out.

Trade your yellow ones with someone on the forum for clears. There's always someone who wants to trade. It's a waste to break them.

I just did mine...got too lazy to sell so I just put a screwdriver in and broke it and shook all the glass out. Now I put a 6000K HID in there and it looks nice. I do suggest you trade, but if you're like me and can't wait, just crack the daymn thing. haha good luck!

This guy shoulda hit the search button, when do you have to take the bumper off to access the fogs?
