can anyone tell me what the l-tuned ecu part# is? i recently bought one form the member here and the part# on the ECU is 89650-30570 078300-0982. i don't know about the last part but the front 10 digits are the same as 98-00 ECU. did he send me the non l-tuned part?
any help will be helpful.

I Believe the part numbers are identical between the oem and L-Tuned.

 

yes, they are the same part numbers. basically the l-tuned ecu's firmware is different than the stock ecu's. it is a reprogrammed part.

 

so there is no way of telling the difference then?

also 2001 GS onward has the new OEM ECU so no need to order the l-tuned.
they would be the same.

You can maybe find a 2001+ at a junkyard and install it on your 98-00.
