Default Stock Head Unit Went Dark... What Bulb Size?

As the title says, parts of my stock HU went dark today... I used the search function and found that this happens and it's no big deal to replace. What i couldn't find was the bulb size of the bulbs that need to be replaced. Anyone have any info on this. Also, how do i get the head unit out of the dash? I can't wrap my mind around how it would come out... so any help would be greatly appreciated!

That first link definitely helps... but that second link (which I found during my initial search) doesn't say what bulb size it is that I need to replace. I want to have the correct size and correct number to replace all of them before I take it all apart.

Anyone know?

So, would that be considered a 74 bulb?

No, 74 is what goes into your shifter and ignition light. The bulb part number I gave you is the part that "twists" into the dash. Its a specialty light that NO BODY ELSE MAKES trust me, I have been looking for an LED version 4ever... So go to the dealer and order this bulb.... It comes with the green "condom" on it.

Hope that helps...

Autolumination actually sold these first but they charged a lot for them. That seller had really good prices for good quality LEDs so I asked him to make some neo-wedge bulbs. I told him many people would be interested in changing the color of their center consoles and he actually listened to me.

So I guess without me, you wouldn't be able to buy those. I've been meaning to buy some and do the same to my climate control. Does anyone know exactly which size to use? He has 3 different sizes.

Its the T5, I have personally removed the Climate Control system, and my Nakamichi Stereo (taking them both apart) and The T5 looks and IS the exact same bulb...

There are 8 for the climate control unit, and I know that there is one light behind the volume **** (WHICH IS NOT THE T5, some other bulb) 2 behind the LCD for the radio, and I am unsure, as I have not taken the radio far enough apart to look for the bulbs.

(BTW Order an extra one or two.... Just Incase )
