one of my HID lights were replaced and when i brought it home i thought one was brighter than the other. but it turns out that it's the angle that the new head light was pointing. the new highlight was pointing a little lower... therefore when you compared the two, the newer one looks dimmer. all you have to do is adjust the new headlight... there are two little wheels by the headlight that adjusts the vertical and horizontal alignment. try that and see if that works for you...

Sasha, Lexus changed their HID color a year or two ago. The older style was more blue and supposedly the new HID is closer to actual natural light. I like the old style better. You might just have the wrong replacement color.
Question, on the side where it isn't as blue, does the HID look more blue when you initially turn the headlights on and then it fades to a more white/yellow hue? If so, you got the wrong HID.
