Ummm... I have to change my vote from 'shake with aft mkt wheels' to 'NO shake with aft mkt wheels'.

Like CBRA928, I went to a good tire shop and had them balance the wheels to a 'T'... followed by a very thorough 4 wheel alignment. The computer printout results are very tight.

The shake & Shimmy at high speed is GONE!!!

I don't think it's changed. I was wondering if adding them would make a notable difference.

Do you guys ever drive over 90 mph? Let us know in a few thousand miles if the result is still the same. I have balanced my wheels to the 't', and dotted all i's.

i have been know to drive a little over 90 before. my shiz is currently steady, smooth, and feels very dialed in (almost glued to the road if you will, in a good way) at speeds from around 85-110, i try not to drive much over 110 for fear of having to react to a situation that might have an unfavorable outcome at such a high rate of speed.

had the shimmy, got pissed, fixed it, and now life is good again...

I have it at 62-67mph.

I also have it when braking sometimes, but thats probably from warped rotors right?

After I get my new 20" wheels what you advise that I do?

use this as a check off list, i did all the above and my vibrations is pretty much all gone. oem 16's with everything original parts.

1.balljoints, check for play.
2.brake caliper stuck/warped rotors check
3.control arm check.
4.Correct sized hub rings for aftermarket wheels.
5.steering tension adjustment.
6.proper inflation
7.road force balance/alignment/balance/tire rotation
8.check for bent/damaged rims
9.check if tire is slipping off rim. chrome wheels has this issue alot (mark with crayon)
10.torque lugnuts to 76 ft.lbs (get a click/dial type torque wrench)
11.use proper lugnuts! titanium lugnuts could be a culprit.

anymore im missing?
