I installed "traditional" Nokia phone kits in our cars (98 Camry and 00 LS400) with no training or particular knowledge. Installing a phone kit is one of the easier DIY projects and Bluetooth kits like the IHF1000 are the easiest. There are only three connections you will need to make to your car from the phone kit - power, ground and audio system mute. The easiest way to connect the power is to use a piggyback fuse at the underdash fuse box - you can buy one at an auto parts store. You can attach the ground wire to just about any metal screw or bolt under the dash.
The phone kit's mute wire is best attached to a mute pin on the factory installed phone harness but it is also possible (and perhaps more risky) to attach it to a mute pin at the headunit or amplifier. It's easier on a non-ISO Lexus like you have to use an external speaker (mount it under the dash) rather than to tap into a door speaker.
You might google to see if you can find a vehicle specific harness to make all the connections.
Otherwise, all you have to do is remove some interior trim to run the wires and hide the phone kit components. IMO, the best place to put the microphone is in near the map light so that the sun visors don't block your or your passenger's voice.
If you want someone to install it for you, find someone who can read instructions, has a couple hours to spare and understands how to pop off and reinstall interior trim.
I found a tutorial on installing an IHF1000 by Googling: http://www.discountcarstereo.com/pdf/ihf1000z.pdf
It was way more complicated to install my Nokia kit in my 00 LS about four years ago due to its greater complexity: http://home.kc.rr.com/colchester/pho...%20install.doc
