just wanted to know if i'll have any problems fitting these two setups dropped on either Tanabe Nf or Df springs. and if so, what kind of fender mods would i have to do?

I believe you will need some major rear fender modding for the Leon's but the SSR's should fit just fine all around except for maybe leaving some camber in the rear.

No fender work at all with the SSR's and all you would need is to trim the rear fender out like most anyone with a decent stance on this website has done to fit the Leons. Hell I have done it to 3 different GS's. Nothing major and a body shop will do it for probably an hour of labor if you dont want to yourself.

Oh and the Leons will sit sooo much nicer than the SSRs will.

Agreed ^^^.

The Leon's is the ticket. Money wheels for the 2GS! Your offsets are fine as well. Once lowered, they will really set the car off!

so, with either tanabe springs, it will lower the car enough so that fender mods will be needed? my only concern with the Leons is that they are 18s and i don't want to slam the car to get rid of wheel gap nor do i want any major wheel gap. i'm looking for a good middle ground.

Go with the 18s and get the DF210 springs. Cut off one dead coil off each front and rear spring and you will have an AMAZING stance and a great ride! I can say this because thats the exact same suspension i ran on factory shocks for 10k miles. And its still going strong for the new owner.

Pic of how my old GS sat with DF210 springs(1 dead coil cut front and rear) with 19x9 front 19x10 rear et20 Work eurolines.
