Well, I just got my GS300 a couple days ago and told myself I wasn't gonna put ANY money into it until after I sold some other project cars. WTF! I got beat by some ghetto asian kid in a Honda Fit. And the sad thing is, I'm pretty sure all he had was catback exhaust. My pride is hurt and my budget is upped. Selling the RB 240 to do something nuts!

Even worse if he has a K24 with a K20 head swap. Those things will tear up a GS300/400/430. Only race one if you have at least a turbo or something. Those little K-series are VERY responsive to mod. My friend has a Honda civic SI (EP3) with a supercharger and that thing will pull on my GS400 easily.

Hey man don't feel bad... ever since I got a GS, I've been targeted at stoplights by every punk in a Honda/Acura. I hear their exhaust revving and look over to see that casual nod, little wink -or maybe a glare- a little leer, the hi five with the required sidekick/jackass in the passenger seat, then their car jerking forward and backwards as they play with their clutch, and finally then them taking off a fraction of a sec before the light turns green... I took the bait a couple of times at first, but then I figure why bother? I'll just sit back and take pride in knowing I had a little something to do with them effing up their clutch prematurely as they skid forward at a zillion mph in first, and grin at the puff of blue smoke from their exhaust, and their rattling spoiler that's taller than the roof of their car.... I say screw them and just take pleasure where you can find it!
