Default Diy head light restore didnt Turn out so good!

Ok i posted this on the lighting board, but thought I would get some more imput here.

Hope i didnt do anything wrong mods.

i used some head light restore product on ebay. it turned out better than what i expected.

what i did was took 2000grits sandpaper and wet sanded the headlights until all the yellow haze came off. then i got some 3m plastic cleaner and then i used a high power buffer (porter cable) and buffed the headlighst with 3m plastic polish. which it came out like new, like i just bought the headlights. i also sealed the top coat with liquid glass.
