The red circled part is the bullet looking thing. Spray the cleaner into the part that the blue arrow is pointing to.

I need to do the throttle body also. I had already cleaned the MAF and dropped in the K&N and re-assembled everything. I might do that this weeked.

The most over looked maintainence item. Good work cleaning it up I just did this on my Rav4 last week for the first time since it did wonders for the GS.. My gas mileage has indeed improved on the Rav just like the GS

You might have to disassemble the throttle body itself to clean it. On my GS4, I can clean the TB without taking the unit off because I'm able to reach the throttle plate. Your throttle inlet tube looks a bit long so who knows. Try cleaning it without taking the throttle body off. Last resort, take everything out.

I dont know what's in brake cleaner, but I use MAF cleaner myself just because it was only $4 or so. The MAF is pretty sensitive and the wires inside are paper thin. They might corrode or something if you use the wrong cleaner. Again, I dont know what's in brake cleaner so I can't tell you if it'll work or not. But for $4, better be safe than sorry.

Is this for a GS3 or GS4?

The GS3 is the the one where the throttle tube looks a bit too long to reach into. GS4 is a breeze.

I wouldn't use brake cleaner or carb cleaner. Thats just me. I would recommend using CRC electric parts cleaner. $5 or so at autozone.
