Hey Everyone! I have been a long time lurker and must say there is a great information and ideas on this sight. I bought my GS300 last August. It was all stock when I got it, but the more I read the easier it was to find things to spend money on. I started buying things over the winter and the mods have begun.

Anyway, this weeknd I installed KYB GR2's, and Tanabe DF210. I am really happy with the drop. The wheels I bought are 18x8 all around with a +30mm offset.

Here is a picture of my other "toy".

Thanks to all the guys who posted the "how to's"...the articles were very helpful when I did the suspension, and when I chose the wheel offset.

Default Wheels?

I alway's thought that even with the car lowered, that 18's made the car appear to need more of a drop? I agree that the wheels on the project probably would look better?

Lexbian... it looks like we have the same tastes in cars. I have the same color GS and I'm seriously thinking about getting one of your "toys". Is that a Factory Five Racing replica? If not, have you heard good things about Factory Five? My problem is that I am 6'3" and I want to make sure I fit comfortably in one of those things before I order it...

Yes, it is a FFR, i did a quite a bit of research and decied that FFR was the best value for the $$$. I am 6'1" and fit in it very comfortably.

That 's great, I was concerned that I may offend some folks with that, but I figured most of us car guys have a sense of Ha Ha!!

Switch the wheels from your toy to the GS.
I did try the wheels from my FFR on my GS but they rub like crazy. The fronts are18x9 with 255/35/18 and the rears are 18x10.5 with 295/35/18 on them. They do look good, it should have taken a picture with them on.
