With these gas prices, I think you should just buy mods for it ;] lol

Buy it!!!!!!! I just bought the exact same car in Feb from a CL member! Absolutely Love the car! Stereo is awesome and the Saddle interior is the bomb! Here is the car....

The price is a bit high but the car is a very special combination so it is worth it!

Id say go cop it if its all good. Very rare combo. The ML is great. A big option to me that u didnt mention is if it has the wood wheel? If it has the wood wheel/Nav and ML def. go for it. Price seems about right. I never driven the GS3 but there is really no diff. in gas mileage from the 430 from what i have read. My 400 gets 20mpg 70/30 city/highway. My 430 i got 19.50 once and 16.50 another. I have only had the car for a few months and it just sits in the garage. Just rim up the Sportdesign and your all good...

You will regret it if you think this is the car and you do not go for it! We get so many comments about ours.

The price is pretty good. I payed $19,800 about 18 months ago. The only problem u might have is the Nav. system. Other than that it's a great car! Good luck.....

Is the saddle leather a finer softer leather then what is standard or is it just a different color but the same exact type of leather that comes stock? It is a very nice car and I would love to have that saddle leather in my GS430 but I would try to talk them down in price as it seems kind of high.

As some of you all know I have been on the quest for a new car and think that "the one" may have appeared. I have found a 2003 GS 300 Sport Design that's black with the saddle leather (my favorite combo) and it has ML/Nav as well. The car has 63,000 miles on it and has never been wrecked or anything, the owner just did the 60K service and has all service records. The owner is asking $18,000 and KBB says $17,250 so I am expecting to be around that price.

As I understand, the 2nd gen GS was actually the single most reliable car that Lexus has ever built. The main reasons for my purchase decision are the quality and the features and I am in love with the color combination.

Just wondering if anyone here had any thoughts on the car or this purchase? The 2nd gen GS is a car that many people have recommended but I just wanted to ask.

Also, my current Camry has the JBL system and I actually really like the audio in the car. It sounds good. How does the ML system in the old GS compare? I guess this might be a stupid question but the GS is an older car so I wanted to ask.

Thanks guys!
buy it. now. i have an 01 without mark levinson or nav but in my experiences with the car (both while my uncle had it and while ive had it since buying it from him) it's the best car i've ever seen as far as performance, looks, comfort and reliability are concerned. I would love to see someone find a better 7 year old, 123k mile vehicle by those standards than a 2nd gen GS. Especially the GS300, with nothing but a K&N drop in running 89 octane i'm getting 20-22 a gallon, and thats mostly city
