I have the same smell when flooring it on the freeway. After installing dynomax mufflers, it got worse. Some one told there is an updated cat. conv. but an 2005 is out of warrenty, so we have to pay to replace then. T hinking of changing to racestyle cat. conv. Tring different gas stations didn't help.

Easy guys...
You said your car has been hit many times. Look for some air leak (bad seal) in the trunk or doors rubber seal . Did you hear some wind noise? Inspect all carefully.
Sometimes when the A/C evaporator start leaking also start to stinky odors!

Had the same problem and posted it. If you run a search you could find it. But I changed the CAT and problem was fixed. Before that, I was scared take a girl for a ride and floor it. For sure she'll think it was me...

Hahahahaha instant NO GAME play there. That could turn a super steamy romantic atmosphere into an awkward funny as hell moment for me, but for her, since I'd locked the windows by now, would wanna jump out of the car on the freeway.

This is really bothering me. I have a 05 GS300 which I haven't had much luck with since I got it(2 accidents because of my negligence , 1 hit and run, 1 hit and no run by somebody without insurance, who hasn't payed yet, catching fire because audio installer didnt do a good job. ) Anyway, this is my issue, whenever I'm on the highway and i hit 75 mph and up, My car starts smelling like fart. Has anyone experienced this before. Please help. I read somebody's car smelling like fart because of the battery but I think this is a different case. This is really embarrassing especially when im with my girlfriend. Thanks guys.
Maybe the oxygen sensor is bad.
