Default Rough Ride??

I just picked up my GS2 a little over a month ago and after reading through the threads I see quite a few talking about how nice their GS's ride. Mine seems rough to me, I feel every bump and painted symbols/lines in the road. I thought it was due to the OEM 17's w/low profiles causing it, but now having second thoughts since reading the threads. Could I need new shocks? Lower ball's and tie's? or is this normal and I am expecting too luxury of a ride? Any feedback would be appreciated... BTY my GS has 64,000

UPDATE:

Well, I checked my tire pressure and it seems good. (36psi) I am thinking my shocks are gone... The steering wheel shakes like crazy when I hit bumps and especially railroad tracks. This blows... Can anyone recommend any good shocks for my vehicle? I plan on adding Eibach springs when I change out the shocks, and I guess take care of the lower ball joints and rods as well so I only need to get an alignment once... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I will check the pressure in the tires... The shakes of the steering wheel is getting old already every time I hit a rough spot...

have them check the control arms, just changed mine last week now the shake is gone.
I changed lower ball joints, lower control arms, struts, and got new tires. now no more vibes.
but the car won't sit on the road on highways, always shifting, anyone with advice?..

sewll m ay stil have a good deal on the ltuned shocks and springs but if your gs only has 64000 miles on it im betting the the shocks and ball joints and control arms are ok and what you need is in the powersteering rack. oh and yes with th 17s the ride is much rougher than with the 16s and gets even bumpier if you go to 18s etc. also your tires could be junk to, if they have more than 15000 miles on them the high speed rated tire ride like wood wheels

My tires have less than 6k on them... I hit a bumpy road today and it felt like the tires were coming off the road. Hope I can figure it out without replacing a bunch of stuff that doesn't need to be replaced.

What type of tires/brand? Maker sure they are no bubbles on the inside of your tirewalls.
I doubt its shocks, the car only has 68k miles
Did you get an alignment/balancing?

Do you have service records of the car before you bought it?

try lowering your air pressure. go down to 30, see if it makes a difference to your liking better.
Just as a quick math reminder, 36 is 20% more then 30 and should make a huge difference for comfort.

Also, you never said what series tires are you using, maybe give exact tire specs. Are you really running low-profiles or OEM? Change back from low-profiles to OEM sizing if you prefer ride comfort over appearances.

By the car shifting I mean , when on the highway going over sixty you have to continuously keep the car in a straight line, I had a camry before and there was little correction needed. Its like the car is "light". You know the feeling when you drive in strong winds. That one but almost always
