paint is pretty expensive especially a good clear and hardener set up. People don't see all the labor that also goes into resprayin a whole car.... i spent close to 2k for sealer, paint, clear, reducer, etc, but you should get a pretty decent job for 1200$ for just the roof and bumper.

what about side of a car? sorry to hijack thread. My rear door and front fender are a slight different color than my front door and rear fender. I would like to have it all matched up.

I took my spoiler to the paint shop today and its gonna cost me $460 just to prep, paint and install a tiny lil wing.I asked about my bumpers too. They told me $350 per bumper front and back and $3k for the whole car if I keep it the same color. This was from one of the best paint shops in my area. I dont think the roof and a bumper will even cost you 1200 tho. But if your gonna spend that much anyways, you might as well paint the whole car for maybe another 1800 or so.

I know a guy that I can recommend that does good work. I mentioned your situation to him and he said $1,200 just might be enough but it would depend on how much work other than paint might be involved. He has a shop in Thompson's station right near the end of 840. Let me know if you are interested and I will give you his name and number.

had a similar situation with my rear bumper. cost me $350 to prep and paint and match pearl white 051. the main concern with painting the front/rear bumpers is the chrome molding...you might have to replace it if your shop can't take it off properly.
that roof would prob cost around $500 for a decent paint job in my area.
