Default Wood steering wheel

How here has one? I know carson has them for like $600 does anyone know where I can get one for my 400 and of course has to have the e-shift buttons, will the airbag be a direct swap? I already looked on ebay

I want this mod too! I've looked on ebay and found it for like $450 which isnt really a deal. Besides that, I can't really find it online

There is a company called American Stitches that will re-do your wheel and last I checked it was somewhere around $400 - $450. Conduct a search and you will find pictures of people who have had it done. I haven't gotten around to it yet, but plan on sending my wheel to them sometime this year.

I had American Stitching re-leather my Supra's center cosole lid, make a new shift boot and they did my steering wheel in all new leather. This was only in December, and at that time they were willing to redo my GS430's steering wheel because the wood on it looks "faded" as if the top plastic coating has seperated. I didnt have them do it then, but I have planned on it still.

I just spoke with Carter Craft at Craft Customs (previously American Stitches) He said that he will continue to do the GS steering wheels.

Look for the 01-05 GS300 wooden steering wheel. They have e-shift buttons. Of course you're going to need to swap airbags.

Anyone know if any other Lexus model steering wheels are a direct swap with the 2nd gen gs? Is the airbag also a direct swap?

If so please state both model and year that will work.

....your better off just getting it re-wrapped in leather if yours is messed up. I too looked into this route. If you...

1. Buy a 01-05 GS300 wooden steering wheel it will probably cost you at least $600+ then you will need to buy an '02 -'04 RX300 airbag (I think that is the correct year) and that will be another $400. Then labor to install everything if you don't want to do it yourself. You are looking at a total of probably around $1200 or so just to have a damn wood steering wheel.

2. Get Craft Customs to do it for $500...(you send in your steering wheel and then they send it back with the woodgrain) then I would say that's a pretty good deal.

3. Buy a wood wheel from Zeroism (on E-bay); last time I checked was $799 without shipping and without the necessary airbag!

My leather steering wheel is starting to crack bad so I need to either re-wrap it to look OEM or check out Craft Customs.

how about if I want to change my steering wheel to a MOMO steering wheel. Anybody knows what to do in regards to the airbag and all that fun stuff?
