LED bulb. and Fog light
Does anyone know how can I get rid of the yellow reflector of my fog light? Even I changed my light bulb, couldn't do it.
What is the difference between LED bulb and normal bulb?
what is M4 and M6 bulb??

thanx a lot, I am gonna do it today then, so you use a screw driver to break the yellow stuff eh?... what kinda of bulb do you guys use usually for the fog light to get a similar result as the HID color? how many watts? coz I want my fog light looks very bright
I am not gonna trade it with other CL members because I lived in Vancouver, BC. I am afraid that there will be some trouble to trade with other members who are in the state.

M4 and M6 bulbs are wedge bulbs
with M6 bigger in size and has a higher output
the wedge bulbs are located in your inner light housing ... right under the 9005 DRLs.

suibo,
I helped my brother with this mod. It is better to take needle nose pliers and break the yellow cylinder closer to the housing and let the pieces fall out. If you stick a screwdriver in there and try to break it, the housing holding the yellow cylinder will flex, bend, get loose and and will rattle.
As far as the bulbs are concerned, you can use 9006 bulbs in the foglights. If you don't have HID headlights, use the same bulb as you use for the headlights, then they will match perfectly.
A normal bulb uses glass, the LED is housed in plastic. Unless you want a true blue light from the LED wedge bulbs make sure you purchase the "white" ones. The blue ones are very blue and not "superwhite" or don't look white at all.
Check out this link http://secure15.dellhost.com/~d30022...ored_bulbs.htm and look closely at the color of the LED bulbs when they blink. BTW autodynamic is a great source for bulbs.
Hope this helps!
