Default sub in rear seat armrest

I was wondering how a 10inch sub would sound if mounted in the armrest space in the rear seat. any suggestions?

I have a 12" JL w7. It sounds better than firing inside the trunk all the bass is facing in the interior.

This is the best location for the sub for SQ guys. Nothing between your ears and the sub = 100% best sound quality.

to 1skcvc, why the dynamat in the trunk? was it from a previous setup? I have absolutely no rattles inside and out, ALL the sound stays in the cabin for me.

Are the boxes built to sub spec? Looks a bit small from the pictures. Those are wonderful subs.

Yep, JL recommends a .625 cubic foot sealed box for the 10w6v2.
