Well I have been shopping for a 2nd car for a little while now and I recently just got back from Virginia to look at a few vehicals. The guy that owns the dealership had some nice cars, but he, himself had a Black 1998 GS300 that he drives on a daily basis. He told me that he actually had it for sale and he wanted $7800 for it. I test drove it and the car runs like new. The engine is quiet and clean. and all the fluids are good. The bad part is, the car has 190k miles on it, but it has been taken care of. The interior is in "Good" condition, the arm rest is cracking, but I can easily can get it fixed, and there is a slight tear on the back seat no bigger then 2". All the windows work, AC blows cold, all the speakers work as well as the display on the stock radio.

Now I had no intentions of buying it for 7800. The most I offered him was 6000. He is willing to take 6k cash. My step father has a 93 ES that he still drives till this day with more then 350k miles.

I wanted to ask if this is a good buy or should I just leave it alone... I prefer Japanese made cars. I had 2 Nissans, a Pathfinder and a Maxima. The path I gave to my brother and it is still running with 270k miles. I would still have the Maxima if it wasnt totaled. *Thanks to a bold deer who got up and ran off Also if it is worth the buy what whould be the things to replace or look forward to when I get it. The Lex is super clean may I add. I just thought I would use my 1st post to get input from you guys instead of anyone else.
