hey guys,

anyone in socal know of any reputable yet affordable places to fix the front glass? i've had the crack for months and i'm finally getting around to fixing it. i talked to a couple of ppl and they said it will run around $400-500 because of the rain sensor attached to the glass. any help would be great, thanks.

That's news to me I did not know that the 2G had rain sensing wipers

they don't turn on automatically, but if u put turn them on they wipe faster as you drive faster or when more water falls, something like that.

As an FYI, I just had my front glass replaced for $230. Work done at my office.

Got mine replaced about 8 months ago for $100. Not OEM, cant tell the difference either to be honest ! The place is called Pete's Auto Glass in the city of Santa Fe Springs. (562) 633-1199.

an oem goes almost $1G installed. I got mine for free(oem too). in FL your insurance covers windshield 100%.

and no 2nd gen GS has rain sensing wipers.
