Hi guys,
Well, the check engine light came on and my fiance thought it was the low oil light so she added about half a quart of oil. Since we just did an oil change not too long ago, will this cause any damage? If I needed to I can unscrew the drain bolt just a little to let some oil drain, so it's not so full.
One more thing..the check engine light is for P1780 (Park/Neutral Position Switch) I have changed this in the past on one of my other cars and it was easy, but does this switch need any adjusting? Or is it just a simple take the old one off and put the new one on? Anyone have a price from Lexus?
Thanks guys!

Thanks! The car has also had a small leak since I did the oil change (didn't use washer) so I assume the oil level wasn't completely full to begin with. Anyone have an answer to the P1780 question? Also, when I replaced that sensor in the past I had to drain the transmission or else my face would get drenched in transmission fluid. Is that the same case with this car? Oh and the car is a 98 GS400.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
