yah i dont really reccomend taking your car there. i used to work there back in the day and we had quite a few crack heads working there.... i mean literally they rarely drugtest n e one... one time a lady came in to get new tires and one of the techs somehow forgot to put the lugnuts on and as the customer was driving out of the parkinglot her wheel fell off! we just gave her free lifetime oilchanges... so atleast there paying for ur damage

I'm a Sears Technician and have personally aligned several low slung hi performance cars from 05 M3's to 98 Supras to body kit scraping s14s. It CAN be done, and without damage if they take the time and have the common sense to do it right.

BTW, I'm in Myrtle Beach, SC if you are in the area and need something done right. I had my own shop for over 10 yrs before closing it in 2006. I'm at Sears because of the excellent benefits pkg (for my family) and the ability to clock out and go home.. no need to worry because I own the place and you have to wonder if it will be there in one piece in the morning. We are also the busiest garage in this town, even more so than the dealerships.

Rant off*..

Sorry to hear about your car. If you get no relief from the local store mgr, PM me.
Epik...definitely appreciate the offer...if I need ya I'll let you know

Sears overfilled the wifes old Landcruiser by nearly 3 quarts on an oilchange and forgot to replace the filter. When I noticed a puddle under the car the next morning (never leaked a drop of oil before) I checked the oil & brought it back. The service manager said it probably leaked before because of the mileage on the truck and I could have added the extra oil to blame them & make them fix a pre-existing problem. I nearly laid the guy out, but figured an assault charge wasnt the best example to set for my kids, so I left & never went back, cancelled my sears charge card & tell everyone how horrible they are in hopes it doesnt happen to someone else. It frustrated me to a point where I sold the cruiser ( I hate leaks ), Sears BLOWS!
