I WAS THINKING ABOUT GETTING SOME CHROME RIMS AND EVENTUALLY LOWERING THE WHIP. I AM NOW STUCK WITH A DECISION OF 18 OR 20"S. I WANT THE FULL LOOK OF DUBS IN THE WHEEL WELL BUT WAS WORRIED ABOUT RUBBING WHEN I LOWER IT. pLEASE HELP BEFORE I SPEND MY WHEEL MONEY IN GAS. LOL

20s look good but ONLY if lowered.

You can kind of get away with not lowering on 18s, although I would lower this too.

It think either size can look equally as good. It all depends on a few factors, the style of the wheel, the fitment and tire size.

Anyhow, if you do get 20"s a drop is MANDATORY

Rubbing depends of the wheels offset in either size.
There a lots of factors to get you happy or unhappy when you make this change.
In my case:
cons:
more vibration, 3 times cracked wheel (always passenger front potholes)
expensive tires.
pos:
better look, better responsiveness. I feel happy.

I suggest you to get a tire wider than the wheel to protect the wheel. In my case the wheel is wider and exposed.
235.35.19 x 8.5 front 245.35.19 x 9.5 rear

Hence the 245.35.19 will fit better in the front and 275 30 or 35 in the rear.
I don't remember the offset very well but I think is 6" and a half inches rear and a half inch less in front.

19's or 20's are the best with a subtle drop or 18's slammed. And btw 18's look like **** in chrome most of the time. Please prove me wrong for your sake with photos of some nice chrome 18's.

cuz homei get sheet straight aight check home dog. Dubs is slang for a 20 dollar bag of drugs yo. Hence the term dubs being used as a description of another item in the geed-up world of rap and thugs.
