Do 16" LS430 wheels fit 01 GS430?
I got sick of low profile tires, so I'm switching to 16's. I bought a set of 02 LS430 wheels, but I forgot to find out if they fit. Anyone knows?

There's no reason why they wouldn't fit. They're just really small and narrow.

But do they clear brakes, do they have the same offset/bolt pattern?

LS430s have big brakes, and the GS430 doesn't. So they will more than clear your stock brakes. They will probably be a little sunken in since they're not as wide, but the bolt pattern is the same.

Why not go for the OEM GS 16s? They look nicer than the first gen LS430 rims.

My GS was limping around on some 99 LS400 16's for about 3 months without any problems.

Well his set is off an 02' LS430, but it'll still look a bit funky.

Well, I'm just sick and tired of low profile tires, and I was able to find a set of LS400 wheels and tires in excellent condition for an excellent price. Plus, I dont really like GS 16's, they look tiny for some reason. I'll post some pics once I have the wheels on.

Even with the 17's and the 235/45, it's still too low profile of a tire for you?

Three bent rim in two years? Enough indeed.

You'll bend them right away. Pointless.
