It is done. . . (for now.)
Well, it's been a while since I posted up anything about the GTE swap that I was doing. So I figured that since I've had it running for a couple of weeks and got all the little bugs a quirks worked out, I would update you guys and show you some pics and vid of her finally all together. I still have not got the FCON installed yet so I'm still running on stock ecu, MAF and fuel. (well stock injectors anyways.)
Here's a link to the build thread for those who don't know:

Here's the pics of the semi-finished product.
And the startup vid:
I must say, I am COMPLETELY satisfied with all the hard work and money I put into this project. The exhaust is so quiet, even at WOT it still is not as loud as I thought that a turbo back, no cat, 3" exhaust would be. Very glad that I also rerouted the wastegate back into the exhaust. The turbo pulls just like a big turbo should. A little laggy but at about 3200 rpm you had better be holding on to something. 14 psi is enough to break the tires loose in third gear. I can hardly wait to get the FCON in and tuned so I can make some good horsepower. (I'm hoping anyways, gotta keep it conservative for now. Don't wanna break the trans. sooner than expected lol.) Thanks for looking, Ryan

Nice work, finally finished eh?
I remember you...the crazy one that did a GTE swap in a tiny garage. I have no idea how in the hell you managed to do it in that space, but I give you MAJOR props lol. Just a question, I see that you still have the side mount IC. Why don't you ditch it? You already have the greddy front mount. It will allow you to run the pipe upwards rather than have to loop around under the frame. Just curious because personally I wouldn't want to bang up my IC piping if I bottomed out. Then again, my car is so low that I have a lot more other things to worry about than intercooler piping if I bottom out lol!

Yea, that was me, just me and my tiny little single car garage. It was a tight fit but I managed to get it done finally. That is not a side mount intercooler. It is the Blitz 11 row transmission cooler. its about the size of the stock side mount though lol.
I was worried about smacking it on the ground too, but it is high enough that if my car bottomed out enough to hit this pipe on the ground I would have more problems than a dented pipe to deal with.
