Default car died today =[

i have a 2000 GS300 and today i was driving my car and i wasnt accelerating or anything. just cruising at around 40 mph. then all of the sudden the rpm drops a lil bit from about 3000 rpm to 2000 rpm. so i gas a little more to see if it is ok and it went back up to the same rpm again. This happen about 4 times. Then when i tried to accelerate the last time the rpm dropped down to idle rpm and the check engine light and vsc lights turned on. I increased the gas more and the rpm stayed at around 1000 rpm the whole time. I was able to make it home since i was just a block away. i parked my car on the street and turned it off to check underneath the hood. nothing seemed wrong so i started my car to move it into the garage. when i went into reverse it hopped a bit. i was able to roll slowly into the garage. when i shifted back to park it sounded a bit weird. Has anyone one had a similar problem or have an idea wats wrong?

Could also be clogged cats. You won't know till you read the code.

Could be your coil packs but you should have it checked out. You don't want it going out on you on the freeway or anything. Hope it works out.

You are right. It could be the TPS , throttle body motor, or acceleration pedal sensor. get it scanned.
