if its good enough for the windshield, will it work for the mirror and tte lip?
after a relelntless effort to find some 3m double-sided tape for my mirror caps, i came upon a post on here which suggested using the same adhesive which is used for windshields.
so i went around to a local windshield store and they gave me this adhesive called U420 urethane adhesive made by Dow automotive.is this a good idea/item to use on my mirror caps? One of them has never stayed in place in the top area cos i never placed it right the first time and the 3m wore out. . the other is fine, firm and put in place.
And am having a hard time finding some automotive 3m tape here in canada.
i don't plan on ever removing the mirror caps if anything.
so is this windshield adhesive a good item to use for holding body parts in place? (for cars of course)
thanks

Did anyone see that infomercial with the guy who sells everything who started off doing OxyClean?
He was selling some putty thing that looked to be real strong. Don't know how true all the testimonials and test experiments are.
Seemed pretty convincing though, thought about getting some for projects on the ride.
