Can someone please tell me how to remove a flasher unit from a second gen GS?

I recently switched to LED bulbs, and I need to know how to switch my flasher.

Thnx!

I tried to remove it and replace it, but it's impossible to get to unless I'm assuming you take out the dash. I'm just going to wire resistors to the bulbs and make things ten times easier on myself

This should not be that hard to do. It is a user replaceable item so it should not be that buried.

What exactly are you trying to do with it?

That diagram shows you exactly where it is, but try sticking your hand up there to get it out. It's impossible!!!

Ive been meaning to check this out for you but the SUN here in San Jose wont let me. We have been 80-100+ degrees this whole month . I was is Sac this weekend and it was worse there .

As soon as it cools Ill see if I can yank it out and tell you how I did it.

Based on the lack of responses I don't think most people fix the LED fast blink issue this way. You might want to search for alternative fixes for it.

Default Fianlly got it out

Well I finaly got the Flasher replaced. It was a totoal pain to get get too.

I had to take the under dash black panel off then bend in unatural ways
to get to the flasher. Then I had to pull it from the fuse panel, and use pliers to
pull the actusl flasher form the harness. I then put in rhe LED flaher and put everything
back together.

The only problem bow is that the lights do not blink when I unlock and lock the doors
using the remote.

I gave up on the flasher and am just got use resistors to get the blinkers to work right. This way it will also flash when you lock and unlock the car.
