I considered stock GS 16's, but for some reason they just look small. These LS wheels, and in fact the first gen GS wheels do not look small, at least IMO.

the stock 16s don't bother me. I've actually had mine on for almost 2 years
and my 18s are fine, just sitting in my garage.

Well, looks are subjective, but as far as driveability, 16" wheels are the best mod ever.

agreed, although mine aren't a mod. my car is much quicker with the light 16s on it compared to the 18s.

Well, I actually don't notice any difference in acceleration between 16s and 18s. Feels pretty much the same.

Your right, looks are all subjective. Its your car and if comfort and hassle free trips are your priority, esp. in NYC, then this was a great choice. Can't go wrong with stock 16's. Peace of mind is priceless.

As for me, and others, I would have opted, like Dash said, with at LEAST 17 or 18 OEM wheels. G35/06+GS/etc. They're only wheels you can swap them whenever u want.

Damn, the car is impossible to drive agressively in rainy weather at all. The other day I was doing about 30mph and it was raining, and I was in the left lane, and needed to get into the right lane. There was another car in the right lane, I decided to pass it, floored it, the car downshifter and instead of passing the car all I got is a bunch wheelspin and blinking VSC lights. The car didnt accelerate at all. Nice, all season tires FTMFL!!!

I can only imagine how bad snow driving is going to be.

I didnt sell my 17's yet. Should I put them back on? Maybe get a set of snow tires and put them onto the 16's for winter driving?

Not liking at all. Is that bumper cover really necessary?

Why didn't get the factory GS 300 Wheels. At least you can see the brake calibers and rotors.
