Why would you want to disable VVTi? It's great for low end to mid range power and helps spool up the turbo faster. It's only the shops that don't know how to work with it or tune it that hate it. Also, Brian Crower came out with cams for the 2JZ VVTi motor. So that fixes the problem of cams not being aggressive enough. It was a problem back when the only cams available for the VVTi motor was the stock set, but no longer is that an issue.

BUT, if you really want to disable VVTi it's very easy. Just unplug the connector going to the VVTi solenoid and it will stay at a fixed 0 degrees advance. Simple as that
