Moon roof acting up

my moonroof lately has been acting up, I've had it on tilt, and have pressed the button to close and nothing happens, not close or slide back nada

usually I will have to put the key in the door and turn it to close it

help has happen twice this week...

sounds like the motor going.........have you checked the gears to? if they striped or broke it wont turn. but sounds like the motor is starting to go bad!

souds like a burned resistor or something. check the connection behind the switch. maybe even grease is bad. if you can still close it with your key in the door then i don't think it is the motor. probably the switch. good luck
