Default OE Replica wheels? Good or bad?

I have a friend looking at some of the GS and IS wheels online and it showed many of them as OE Replica. What is the quality like on these? Bad Idea?

I've seen these, I think if you're replacing all four they are fine, or should be fine. But if you're only replacing one or two, be careful... they might have differences that will stand out once you put them next to each other, plus they might be made from a different alloy, and therefore have different weight.

I did some more research on these and basically found out that they're crap 9 times out of 10. They're somewhere like 6 or so lbs less than their OEM counterparts, bend easier, the finish flakes off, etc.

Yeah, I figured that sleeping better at night was well worth spending an extra $150 to have some genuine OEM wheels.

Do all of the Lexus dealers do something like this? Keep the take offs when they put other optional rims on a car? If that's the case I could call plenty of places in jacksonville and probably find a pair.

stay away from OE replicas, i bought my car and didnt find out till later that i had replicas. I found out when washing the car and noticed that the chrome was bubbling and later began to flake off, spend a little more and get quality i.e. sewell

Dang! I found some of the 18" '06 '07 5 spokes for less than $100 a rim from a dealer here.
