Default 1998 GS400 oil leak and navi Problem?

Hi, I just bought a 1998 gs400 my favorite lexus ill post pics of it. I bought it from a Dr. for $1500 and he said the crank was bad. I talked to the shop who looked at it and they said I would need to replace the engine. I thought I was gonna have to tow it home and decided to start it and it ran fine. I could barely hear it running so I drove it home about 10 miles away. I looked under the car and it seemed to have a large oil leak up by the tranny. It dont smoke or sound like anything is wrong with it but maybe a rear main seal. Any input Please.

Also when I try to use the NAVI it says check hard drive. I have no clue what to look for. Everything else works fine on it. Thanks in advance.

WOW, lucky you! Check engine & tranny oil at first. Go for a good Lexus mech. for a complete check. Check at Carfax for any damage. (opt.)
What mileage?
