...ballpark figure for a new fender, bumper, painting and install? I'm guessing $1500 or so.

I've found the fender for $200 and the bumper for $300 online, both in white. I figure $500 to paint both and another $500 to install.

He started driving 4 weeks ago - at least he didn't hit anyone else.

Paint will probably cost more. Installing the front bumper is super easy. I am unsure of the fender, but it shouldn't be too hard.

Is that a new Lexus factory fender you found for 200? If not you may need to drill out some new holes to make it fit correctly. Also the fender kinda sucks i just replaced my ds and you need to remove the headlight to get to some of the bolts.

You buy civics or corollas for new drivers don't let them touch the good stuff..Good luck with fix, paint matching white is a pain.

Wow really? I thought that only happened in movies or TV shows ... How old is he? I agree buy him a beat-up honda civic for $1k and let him destroy it learning how to drive so there's no harm done
