hmmm that means its around 5$ a shot now??? man that is def. turning me away from this option. ultimately i wish my car was just 1000 lbs lighter and that much more nimble. that would be a dream come true. i bet one of those new m3's fits this description,, oh and still waiting for the gs-f.

so your gonna spray to keep up with a gs4xx, but what happens when you roll up on me or another gs4xx that isnt stock then we will be back to square one with your thread. i say trade that bad girl in, if you are serious about wanting to "keep up" with a 400/430.

But if you're serious about going fast the upgrade path on the 2jz (as you likely already know) has far more potential then the UZ series V8's. You just have to be willing to spend the money. Of course...having the money helps too.

Just my 2 cents worth.
I think just the opposite, the UZ has more potential, but you gotta spend way more. The JZ series is already proven and has many parts already available. The JZ is more economical due to the many manufacturer's that provide support and products for this motor. The UZ is a beast but you gotta spend much more. Supply for the UZ is not as much but when you get the right info and connections, boy it can be fun.

Are you trying to say that a GS300 handles better than a 400/430

True, but I doubt 50lbs makes any difference and the 400/430 has a stiffer suspention from what I have heard. I think avrcguy must have driven a beat up 400/430 to make such claims. I pesonally think both cars have a soft factory suspention, but to say a stock 300 is more fun to drive, now thats just

If you don't want headaches and stay worry-free (or as much as possible anyway), go for the 430. It will be cheaper in the long run.

The new M3 actually weighs 3700lbs. I think that's 50lbs more than the GS300 lol.

EN_VY, if you're ever in Dallas. I'll take you for a ride in my car. It will change your perception of a 6 cylinder car forever

LOL. Then you'll have to volunteer to help him upgrade his car to keep costs down.
