Yeah, that too lol. I actually took a couple people for rides at the previous local Lexus meet. One guy said he had to hold his breath when the boost kicked in lol. Kinda like when bracing for the fall at the apex on a rollercoaster haha

Save your money & get the swap, tuning potential is limitless with a 2jz & you'll never have to worry about a GS430 or even an IS-F

EN_VY, if you're ever in Dallas. I'll take you for a ride in my car. It will change your perception of a 6 cylinder car forever
Jeff, what's its best quarter mile time so far? I will be heading down to Dallas sometime next month. Maybe a few of us can meet up!

I appreciate it! I dont see me know going to dallas anytime soon, but riding in your car would be awesome. Another noob question, when you turbo a car, do you have to teak a lot of things while driving to make it go fast? Or do you just give it gas and off it goes? I am sorry if this sounds dumb.

WOT runs in a non-turbo car modified with a turbo will probably return pretty crappy gas mileage too. But that's the case with any car; regardless of boost.

EN_VY, that all depends on how good the tune is. If it is pretty good and accurate, you should be able to start the car any day of the year regardless of temperature or weather. You should be able to hit full boost with spot on air fuel ratios all day any day. It took me a while of tweaking to get my fuel map there, but I'm finally satisfied with it now. I used to have my laptop in the car at all times incase I need to do some adjustments. It's been a few weeks since I've had to do that

whazzzzuup, my gas mileage is about 10-12 city and 20 highway average. But that has a lot to do with the way I drive lol. If you can stay out of boost all day, then I don't see it being an issue to get 17/24 or so.
